Lip sync problem
#1
Hey
I know that there are several threads about this problem but none of them helped me resolve the lip sync issue I am facing (there is a delay)
I tried all 3 sync methods in the kodi menu according the wiki
none of them helped.
I am using audio passthrough
it's kodi 14.2 on fedora linux 21
can anyone assist?

thanks

Hi
Some vids are just badly encoded, I remapped the page up/down buttons on the remote in the Keyboard.xml file for full screen video, with AudioDelayMinus AudioDelayPlus
if its happening on all videos and dvd ect, then switch on debug mode and post the log file

Post a Debug Log.

Hi to everyone. Have MINIX neo x7 with kodi last version. I'm using it most of all for watching movies with plex add-on and other streaming ones. Is there any possibility of putting out the black lines in a movie when playing a 720p-1080p movies? It is a problem of the encoding of that specific movies? Thank you!

You miss proper drivers. i965-va-driver is not installed / working. VDPAU is not support on your IVB, use VAAPI.

Gnome-Shell highly interfers the way we render ... avoid it, when runing kodi.

No idea - I cannot see the new log.

Please retry with a supported version. We did not ship 14.2 in combination with this ffmpeg version.

Edit: And as you are at it: Please start kodi from your login manager directly, not from gnome-shell. Then please revisit with our latest v15 nightly code. v14 is history.

without the VAAPI error
the ffmpeg I have installed is from fedora
do you know what version do I need and how to install it?

Sadly you need to build from source.

Alternatively, Try OpenELEC from an USB stick and see if the issue persists.
