Hey how's it going, I am quite new to Kodi but have a basic understanding of what gets me started... I do have a question though
that I was wondering if someone could answer. Can kodi run on a device with these specs: The device in question has a 1GHz Processor, 512MB of DDR3 ram, 4G storage, is wifi enabled and Bluetooth enabled.

If kodi can run on those specs how will it perform? How would the different aspects perform, or which way should kodi be used on this device.
(live ppv events, dvr-ish, etc?).

Thank you for your help, and sorry if its not a brilliant question, just starting out.

We need a bit more information I'm afraid.

What is the operating system - Linux (inc OpenELec), Windows, Android ?
What is the processor - x86, ARM etc. - and what type?
What is the GPU if it has a separate one?

If you can tell us the name of the device that might also help.
