Hi folks, newbie here. Hope I'm posting in the correct forum. Currently using a Amlogic Android box and have seen that ( using external keyboard ) pressing the G key either in or out of Kodi forces Google homepage. Is this an easy fix or something that cannot be changed ?

That sounds like something on the Android level for that device and not something in Kodi, so there's really not much we can help you with.

Sounds a little odd. I have an amlogic based CX-S806 (S802 SOC) and tried it with my air mouse/keyboard also tried holding CTRL or ALT keys down thinking maybe you had a "key modifier" locked but nothing weird here. Strange. Can you even type a "g" in a search or input field? Must be a pain. If a manufacturer did that there must be a way to toggle it or disable it or a keyboard would be useless. Is it maybe just the particular one you have?
