Is it possible with this remote to stream CNN, for example, from my bedroom TV ,(Kodi installed on Matricom G-Box Q) to the Chromecast on my kitchen TV? If so, how? What are the steps I need to take on Kore?

No, you can't stream to chromecast through the remote.
