I like the shield, but I think the PQ is so poor, maybe have to set up a little more, but don´t know what to touch Big Grin

You will if you have a display type that supports those resolutions

I'm wondering what peoples' thoughts are about this. I have been using SPMC but ran into the issue where the scraper was not working. I loaded up Kodi 17.3 and so far it's been pretty good, so I too am wondering what the advantage of SPMC is now. FYI I have 3 nVidia Shields, HD, no 4K screens.

With kodi 17.3, I am no longer using spmc since 17.3 seems to work just fine on all fronts. I am not using 4K at the moment.

Good to hear. I love SPMC and personally hold Koying up on a pedestal cuz, well, WOW! I just want to check and see what people think about the current SPMC/Kodi17 thing. I hope others will weigh in.

I see there is a Shield update just released which would reportedly fix the 25/50 refresh rate issues (cool!).

When i choose 4k resolution at 24hz the menus are slower than 4k 60hz.... Anyone with the same problem?

Yeah and why do you think that is?

24hz is slower than 60hz

Does the Kodi app offers advanced scalers like SPMC?
The scaling is kind of shitty on the Shield, so it would be nice if Kodi offered that solution.
