I just bought a 10" win 8 tablet for my son so we can finally have a tablet which supports all video formats and comes with SD expansion slot.
After trying numerous media players, I realized that I can just use Kodi, nothing else comes close to compatibility. Built in "Xbox Video" player is a joke, and VLC, well it has it's limitations.
So I am looking for suggestions on how to make it more touch & kid friendly.
I tried Re-Touched skin, which is what I will be using (unless there is a better option), but I was wondering if I can modify the skin to remove unnecessary on-screen buttons and information.
Also can I lock Kodi and remove exit button, I was going to use Kiosk mode in Win 8 but then I realized there is no Metro version of the Kodi, is there going be a metro version of Kodi anytime soon?
I just need very basic skin that lists the videos/movies by thumbnails or cover art, and just simply disable all advanced functions.
