HI all

Whats everyone using as a remote for Kodi ?

I've got my wife and 8yr old son tuned to use the Windows MCE remote and they love it for its simplicity

Out of interest, which buttons are missing?

I sold off all my MCE remotes and replaced them with XB1 remotes, as they have a lot fewer unused buttons to confuse my aged mother-in-law. Made a profit too, as original MCE remotes are like hens teeth!

I tweaked the button mapping a bit. Some folks don't like the XB1 remote because the repeat on the volume +/- buttons is slow ... or that's what I read, I use the TV/AVR remote to control the volume.

I have four of them, as I have 4 Kodi boxes. They seem very reliable and the kids (4 & 10) can use them with ease.

The most used buttons, in order, on our remote is the recorded TV button and the Guide button,not to mention the green home menu button.

Have you mapped these and to what xb1r buttons?

I have a couple of these. Most of the buttons are mappable - and it also is a generic Windows remote, so it works with other apps.
