Hello all. Longtime user, first post. So I have a renewed interest in the IPTV Simple Client. Now that I've figured out how to generate my own working XML playlists, I wanted to incorporate my own EPG within Kodi. I tried using my custom XMLTV file with FTV Guide since you can link a channel to Kodi Favourites, but the problem with that addon is the fact that it does not refresh the EPG when using a custom playlist (among other things).

So, my question to you all is... can I use a custom XMLTV file with IPTV Simple (or Stalker) and link the channels in the EPG to my Favourites?
