OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 16.0)
(2015-09-25, 13:25)Milhouse Wrote: Are you able to try debug-enabled build #0921x for RPi2? It will require an oversized 380MB FAT partition - unfortunately the crash-logs from a non-debug build are not providing sufficient detail.

Yea, I could try that using another microSD card. Installation is the same as for regular builds?

Yes, it just requires a larger FAT partition (at least 384MB) as the debug-enabled SYSTEM file is over 2.5 times the normal non-debug size.
Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.

How do i get these? I'm gparted the SD-card to a bigger size but it looks like it need ages to shrink and grow the two partitions

Debug-enabled builds are here. Most recent is #0921x for RPi and RPi2.

Yep, it can do. For a fresh installation you're better off following the manual partitioning steps linked from the first post (see item #5).

Hi Milhouse,
Thank you for your effort to have a daily build of Kodi 16.

I have a problem with EPG and I would like to install PVR Simple client ver: 2.0.0-73, I need support for "Support multiple display-name nodes in xmltv data" that seems to be fixed in that version: https://launchpad.net/~aap/+archive/ubun...hive-extra.

Is there a way to do that? if I go to the Add-on and I click on update it says that there is a problem with dependencies...

Why Kodi 16 not using the last version of the Add-on?
FYI: I'm using #0924

Please let me know.
Thank you

Build #0924 already includes the latest version of the pvr.iptsimple add-on - see https://github.com/kodi-pvr/pvr.iptvsimple

The version you link to is 4+ months out of date and based on PVR API 1.9.6 when Kodi 16 has already moved to PVR API 4.1.0, so it wouldn't work with Kodi 16 anyway. If this fork of pvr.iptvsimple contains commits/features not in the Kodi version then you should request the author to push their commits upstream, or discuss the issue in the PVR IPTVSimple support thread.

There are "depenedency issues" with all PVR addons because any PVR addon available for download will be older than the version that ships with each build, so the dependency check intentionally fails for all PVR addons. If you want to test builds of PVR addons that don't ship with these builds then please don't report problems with those PVR addons in this thread.

thx to Milhouse - i have cleand my old repos who have making some Problems ( periodic refresh list @ high cpu) Cool

This problem should be fixed in tonight's build, also the directory listings being refreshed every 13-14 seconds (see PR8110 for details).

@doldi (or anyone else) - can you confirm the 13-14 second list refresh problem is now fixed?

Hi,
I had a look in the code of the github link you send me and it seems to me that feature is not there... Ok I will try a workaround using a script to change the name of the channels in my playlist or to modify the epg file....
Thank you for your quick reply, and for your work, and sorry for the waste of time.

Have a nice day.
