yes,

VAProfileHEVCMain : VAEntrypointVLD -> HW HEVC 8bits decoding supported
VAProfileHEVCMain : VAEntrypointEncSlice -> HW HEVC 8bits encoding supported
VAProfileHEVCMain10 : VAEntrypointVLD -> HW HEVC 10bits decoding supported
VAProfileVP9Profile0 : VAEntrypointVLD -> HW profile0 ( 8bit ?) decoding supported

only HEVC 10bits and VP9 encoding is missing compared to Kaby lake

The 25p issue was fixed by fernetmenta today. Thanks much.

Has anyone been able to configure mythtv-backend using this setup (running the backend on the same NUC as Kodi)? Is there some type of change that I need to make to the openbox autostart file?

When I try to SSH in remotely to configure the backend I get the following:

chris@localhost ~]$ ssh -X [email protected] /usr/bin/mythtv-setup

With this guide, is there any way to make Ubuntu automount my blu ray disk? I am using an external USB 3.0 Blu Ray with my NUC

To my knowledge that's Ubuntu configuration, not Kodi or openbox... You should be able to do that by editing the /etc/fstab file... Google knows it...

Real Video DVDs/Blurays shouldn't be mounted.

That's the thing I don't get. If I don't mount it and then goto Kodi -> Videos -> Play Optical disc, the drive does not spin up.

Hello thanks for the guide!

Everythings working fine so far for me. I just have a question concerning colors.

I'm running it like this:

Driver Full
Kodi Limited
TV (Samsung) Limited

With this setting on the avs disc i can see the bars from 17 upwards flashing on the black test, so that's fine, but on the white clipping all bars flash. Is that ok?

You run kodi v17? (just to be sure).

Yes, everything as described in the guide

It might that your TV does ignore its limited setting, cause you send a FULL handshake (info frame) while forcing the driver to full. If you like the picture as is - stop caring :p

Hello guys,

I've decided to reinstall my HTPC to Ubuntu server 16.04 (coming from Windows Kodi 17 Alpha build) and wondering if there's a version of Kodi with 3D MVC, ISO playback support just like on Windows?
I'm on Intel Haswell system.
