Intel VAAPI howto with Leia v18 nightly based on Ubuntu 18.04 server
Hehe :-)

The logs you provided are cleaner than clean :-) nothing in. Yeah - so next time perhaps we will see something - at least in the crashlog.

Puuuh :-) logs cleaner than clean sound like a good installation. Well the crashlog show nothing different as the old log :-(
Will install gdb and perhaps enable debug at nigth after usage to have more information next time to provide if it crash again in...

Hi fritsch,

Just tried the latest build but same as last time where MediaPortal PVR stops working, has the build been compiled without the support?

@sijones2010: Fixed in latest upload (wait until fully uploaded) - it's just the .tar - so upgrade over your existing installation

TV was ON, I have seen that the scanning started and then the TV got grey and only the mouse cursor was visible for some seconds and then the comandline of ubuntu. Nothing else...

Jep it segfaulted - that one can clearly see - the problem I have is: I don't know where most likely in the scanner - code I absolutely don't know.

Here we go:

New builds - using ffmpeg 2.8.3 - please check if everything is still in sync - also check if the lag - you might have experienced while watching a video in the menus is now gone, please.

Hello,

also with older versions I experience a drift between audio and video for my setup. It is independent from the movies' framerate, it happens for 24p mkv movies as well as for 50 Hz TV. When starting to play TV/movie, video and audio are in sync. After two hours, the video is around 500 ms ahead of the audio.

I yesterday re-installed everything according to the howto hoping things might be fixed, but the issue still remains (I switched to the 4.3 kernel as the ubuntu 4.2 kernel does not change to full range RGB output). Please find attached the log-files for watching TV. Somewhere in the middle, TV got stuck (this is probably a different issue with tvheadend hts), so I changed the channel.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

That's a tvheadend issue.

Can you post a Debug Log with drifting video / audio _while_ tvheadend / htsp addon is not running at all? That would be of interest.

If someone is toying with kernel 4.4-rc2 or later, I reworked the Video passthrough patch: http://sprunge.us/eNAW

Kernel: http://fritsch.fruehberger.net/kernel/?C=M;O=D - this should also fix the issue with "switching" to the mode

Hi all.

I've a ga-h61n-usb paired with a G1610 and apparently is working fine.

However I've the following in dmesg:

Should I worry about it?

Thanks a lot
