Intel VAAPI howto with Leia v18 nightly based on Ubuntu 18.04 server
I build all the pvr addons within my build ... which one is missing? See: https://github.com/fritsch/OpenELEC.tv/c...8f77f8a28b

Cool, thanks.

And I think most of the users are of the "stable or windows" variety Smile

Edit: Here even on this very same page: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=...pid2176918

Lol I found that same link via other means so go figure it was there all along. Thanks - I'll give it a shot when I get home.

@Ney: Currently uploading a new release (.tar) - will have pvr.dvblink integrated ... wait until it's fully up and upgrade your existing version after that.

Can anyone verify the results of this white clipping test video on their EGL build?
https://www.dropbox.com/s/vq07ttscl9kktw...g.mp4?dl=0

And the test for black clipping
https://www.dropbox.com/s/226bl52b8kqscw...g.mp4?dl=0

On my RPi2 Jarvis nightly build I see flashing bars up to 232-233 when the Rpi2 is forced to output RGB limited.

On the Intel EGL build I see flashing bars up to 249. I tried sending “touch /storage/.config/forcedisplay” which resulted in no change.

The blacks are the same on both the Rpi2 and the Intel box, both rolling off at about 16-17.

What is the correct output for RGB limited? On a side note I calibrated my display using a colorimeter with very good results using test patterns displayed directly on the RPi.

Quote:Force to output Limited

Can mean everything ... if your force to output the intel driver to do limited it will rescale all the output to match 16 .. 235 :-)

And the sample says: everything starting with 230-234 or higher should flash ... so - all fine isn't it?

On my screen with this VAAPI: 230, 231, 232 , 233 flash

Edit: Mind uploading the black test also?

Edit: Including hw vp9 support by the next atom, called broxton

For what architectures?

Is Braswell generation ( N3050, N3700) concerned ? or only Skylake and newer ?

Because I see gen9 and braswell are gen8

Broxton only. No Skylake ...
