Wake up from sleep is something else ... as most likely your edid feels like being absent. You can try: http://wiki.openelec.tv/index.php/Config...#tab=Intel after a 100% succesful boot.

Edit: The EDID part - xorg.conf might most likely not be needed but does not hurt.

@fritsch: i have also the problem with kernel 4.4 and the color passthrough. when kodi is set to limited color the brightness is too high and in the test video the bars are all visible from 0 to 255. i have to disable limited color to have limited color. in the black test video from 16 and up are visible and in the white test video up to 235.

xrandr --verbose is showing that video "Video 16:235 pass-through" is enabled.

is something different to setup in new kernel?

New kernel needed new code - as the old patch would not apply at all anymore, so I rewrote it and it works on all my systems.

okay, that was also the first thing i have seen in case INTEL_BROADCAST_RGB_VIDEO. because of that i have asked for the old patch. to compare.
until now i didn't build OE from your sources. Only from the official sources. Today i won't get time to setup up the envirionment to your ones. tomorrow i can try to build.

edit: i try the image instead ;-)

The closest I can find is: Here

The wiki references nvidia configuration. I'm using the N3150 beebox - but unfamiliar with the equivalent intel nomenclature. For the rest of it setting up a standalone Kodi box seems fairly standard.

Using latest build I allso have the problem when stopping a movie 'interface' restarts back at home screen or black screen with mouse pointer.

from 19:06 boot then 2x 'interface restart' on stop and at end of log hang at black screen with mouse pointer.

edit: when running a file untill it stops there seems to be no problem and I get back to folder where I started the video

Just wanted to add that "Refreshrate Switching not working" that is claimed to be fixed on page 1 is not working for me. If Iset refreshrate in GUI to 60Hz I have sync issues and not correct refreshrate when playing videos. I will try to add the xorg.conf settings when i'm back from holiday.
