Intel VAAPI howto with Leia v18 nightly based on Ubuntu 18.04 server
Installing Aeon Nox 5 from github (install from zip) should work.

Yeah that worked, thanks. Should I be doing that for all adding?

If you mean should you try installing skins from github then sure, if they've been updated with the required API support.

Some event "adapted" for krypton skins may have bugs, so it's not that simple currently to find a working one.

will you update braswell kernel too?

4.4.1 is already there - which kernel do you miss?

I wonder too what is http://fritsch.fruehberger.net/kernel/Braswell/ for ?
Are the kernels in the parent folder okay for the Braswell CPUs ?

Yes - the Braswell folder is now removed. Was obsolete since 4.3 was stable.

Ant thoughts about the stalled SD bug I exposed yesterday?

What am I missing by not playing with OpenELEC-Generic.x86_64-6.0.98-fritsch.tar?
Big Grin

if you're looking for the most up-to-date EGL build for Kodi 15.2, then you want my OpenELEC-Generic.x86_64-6.0.198-Intel_EGL build. It's fritsch's 6.0.98 build with the OE 6.0.1 updates merged in. Links on ChromeBox wiki page, in my sig

Thanks. Gonna try that. Been having HUGE problems with my NUC lately, with it buffering all the time. I've been thinking it's either a wifi problem on the NUC, or that I'm running it from a USB stick.

Was gonna change to a SSD today, when I found out there was a new version of OpenELEC that might fix my problem:
"Firmware for Intel wifi devices has been updated to resolve (or at least improve) some networking issues."
and I'm glad there's a version from this thread with the latest OE update.

Great!

Yeah, it should - if at all - just remove a little buzz when e.g. format changes to passthrough
