Intel VAAPI howto with Leia v18 nightly based on Ubuntu 18.04 server
I use a latest stable repo, and there is no "Adjust Refreshrate to match video: On" option in System ->Video->Acceleration as instructions says. But it has an "Adjust display refresh rate" I just wanted to say it.

And I have a problem. I made a fresh install Ubuntu server with Unity desktop (before I use xubuntu-desktop). I followed the instructions, but when I started to playing a video the screen was compressed, content was not fit in the screen. Sry for my English. After I try to switch to other windows with ALT+TAB and desktop is freeze. I set off the "Adjust display refresh rate" option and it seesm to be good, but I don't test it too long. Before I think it has no such a problem with settings ON, if I'm not wrong.

I don't have a too good Samsung TV-monitor. Is it important settings? If not, I set off.

We don't support unity. This howto is provided as is.

Hi fritsch.
I wonder if there is any progress on finding the bug which stalls SD material on start ?

Nobody is working on it, so I guess it is still happening for you, even with latest code?

Edit: Mind sharing a sample that causes it? I just tried with 10 SD files (from the 90s and all work).

This may be a stupid question, but I was thinking of installing openelec on a nuc5cpyh, when I go to the jarvis testbuilds I see videoplayer v17, and for the older builds I see videoplayer v15.2, but I thought kodi jarvis was v16?

The link to https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/9830...EGL.img.gz does not work anymore, which file do you recommend I download if I want to try the egl builds on a nuc5?

No Jarvis builds. We go straight to v17.

Could you also please disable "Adjust Refreshrate to match video"?

I see AE dieing there. My TV already runs on 50 hz so it does not need to switch.

After disabling "Adjust Refreshrate to match video" it doesn't hang anymore but the audio kind of struggle to keep up with video with funny sound like you slow a vinyle disc with your hand on the side Wink
