I've searched and found some threads about this. For example this thread: Windows 8.1 SMB share
Also have looked at the wiki for this topic as well: Kodi Wiki
But after reading all of that I still can't get Kodi to allow me to copy a file to a Windows 8.1 share using the Kodi file manager. It will let me create all the folders I want but I cannot copy a file. Going back to the OS I can use ES FileExplorer to copy the file but from within Kodi I can't. Does anyone know the secret to being able to do this? Also from Kodi on Windows or Kodi on the Mac I can copy files to the same network share. Just not from either one of my android devices (MK808 device and Amazon Fire TV)
