Hello,
I have the Shield TV, outputting video in 4k format to a Sony TV.
When watching (or trying to) a 3D video, the TV only supports a 1080 stream, meaning the 4K stream prevents from setting the TV in 3D mode, and I'm stuck with the 2 images side by side.
I understand this is a limitation from the TV, or from the ShieldTV (which cannot change its output resolution), but I was wondering if this was somehow doable within Kodi ? Or if any other people managed to find a solution to this ?
This is definitely not a deal breaker issue, but still one that I'd be interested to see solved.
Thanks in advance for any ideas, suggestions, etc.
Cheers,
Tarkil
