its for debugging, Has nothing to do with your issue. Which is a network related issue, either the Link/Playon or Kodi is timing out before playing... Nothing in the plugin can help you.

You're going to have to debug your network issues...IMO its just playon being flaky.

Are you using an Android version of Kodi? The android version does not work for anyone that I have seen. Works fine as UPnP but cant play anything with this addon. it's definitely an issue with the playon browser.

Yes it is an android device. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks for this great looking addon! One major problem I'm having: I can connect to Playon and am able to see all of the channels and browse the available videos in each, however, when I try to play a stream, I starts to load and then crashes back out to the previous menu. In viewing the logs, it appears that the browser is unable to play the flv file. I've attached a recent log (in this case, it's using Netflix, but the same thing happens with each channel that I've tried). Thanks for any assistance!

I am having the same issue as PCGirl, tries to open a stream and fails. Playing the same selection from UPnP works perfectly fine

I'm having the same issue on my Win7 and RPi2 running Kodi 14.2. It plays fine through UPNP but I can't get it to work through the PlayOn browser. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as it was awesome when it was working.

I am also getting these exact same errors in the log. I just installed Kodi and PlayOn Premium from scrach on 2 PC running Windows 7. PlayOn seem to be working using its UI but using it through Kodi I'm not able to play any videos. Other Kodi videos stream fine. I know the IP is correct and all the videos listings show up. I'm running Kodi 15.2 with PlayonBrowser 1.0.3 but the log says plugin.video.playonbrowser::1.0.2. Is anyone else having these issues? Lunatixz, any help would be appreciated.

Is Playon Browser getting replaced by PseudoLibrary?

I installed it and it works really well. It also seems like it takes away the need for the Playon Browser as it does everything this add-on does.

No, Playon browser is a standalone plugin...

Just curious if there is any update on the issues that people are experiencing.

I have been testing this on my two RPi setups as well as with Kodi installed on my Ubuntu laptop. I am getting the same issues. I can get to the list of my PlayOn Channels, but when I try to play any of the videos I see a black "Loading" screen for a second and then it just goes back to the list.

Would love to use this. I hope the issues can be fixed.

Thanks in advance, Jereme

Nope, still experiencing the issue. Lunatixz, did you need additional information? Are you looking into this at all?

Hoping for an update that fixes these issues as well that adds auto watched status.

Thanks to the devs for a great plugin

I everybody
I think it's a problem of playon, because I have the same issue on my OSMC.
All worked fine, but now I can see the list file and when I try to play I've got an error.

I've only recently started using Kodi, does anyone know when this issue started? Could it have started with the release of version 4 of PlayOn?

It's possible, they did make a lot of changes. More than ever now I would love to see this add-on functional to integrate the recording features, along with auto watched status.

Currently I am using just upnp which works just fine. That along with MyLibrary (or you could use PsuedoLibrary) works perfectly for getting PlayOn content into Kodi.

Yes, it started with Playon V4... and in another thread Lunatixz said he knows how to fix it but has not had time to upload the fix.

Hopefully he can do this soon.
