Hi I noticed there's so many boxes to choose from on eBay, which one do u suggest to get? Quad core 4.4? My friend has mxq, I see mx3 looks nicer maybe, is it the same thing?

The one with the most mature Firmware with after sales support, or you WILL be spending time over on the Freaktab Website looking for Firmware that works with Kodi or complaining in this section of the forums and asking why Isengard does not work.
You basically get what you pay for in the Android marketplace.
I would look at this thread to see which boxes actually work with Isengard first before making a decision based on price alone:

The AMlogic S805 equipped - MINIX NEO X6 and the HardKernel ODROID-C1+ both have good mature Android Firmware and will also decode HEVC video.
You basically get what you pay for in the Android marketplace.
