Hi,

Running latest Kodi on Windows 7.
I have a lot of raw Mini-DV camcorder avi videos (transferred via Firewire to PC).
The avi files play very well once deinterlacing is applied.
I would like to see the original embedded date and time displayed using Kodi - is this possible via some subtitle setting?

I can see the embedded date and time info if I use MiniDV dedicated playback software - I'd like to use the inbuilt Kodi player if possible since it works so well with all my other files.

I'll answer my own post ...

Seems this tool will create the timestamps as subtitles

http://www.videohelp.com/software/DV-Datecode

and then any player including the builtin Kodi one may be used to display the date and time of the original recording.
