I just installed Kodi on a new linux mint 17.2 machine (backend mythtv .27). I mostly use this for PVR && watching live tv. When I go into settings>tv>general>Group Manager and create a new group with only the channels that I watch, the new channel group shows in my EPG. But when I close and re-open Kodi at a later time the new group is gone.

I don't remember having this problem with previous XBMC installs, is there a way to fix this? It is infuriating...

No. Still have this problem. I dual boot and it is common to both windows and Linux for me, drives me nuts... The only fix I know of is to manage the channels on the backend, this isn't the option that I want.

I've found a workaround... If you're using the addon super favorite, you can add your channels there. But you have to do this for every single channel, you wanna have...
