I'm not sure what version of NFS kodi mounts but I do know that Debian 7 by default mounts as NFSv4. My Slackware 14.1 server is not compatible with NFSv4. Kodi can still mount it but is run into problems like Having to stood and relay a video everyone to get it playing correctly. Is there a way I can make Kodi mount an nfs as a certain version?

Interesting. I am not doubting you but are you positive? The thing is as I stated above in OP how my nfs server does not support nfsv4. If I go on my arch Linux client and mount the nfs as nfsv4 which is default, I run into the dame/similar issues as I do when I am on my raspberry pi that runs Debian 7. However if u mount it as nfsv3 on the arch Linux client, I do not run into these issues. This is leading me to believe kodi is mounting as nfsv4.
Is there any more information about a text file/location on where kodi mounts to?
