Hi,

I have 2 PC's running kodi and 2 openelec amlogic devices and for some reason I can only get it to work on one PC. The other PC and the other 2 amlogic devices running openelec do not start the stream. They login and show me what is on the various channels but they do not start.

Here is a pastebin from the PC that does not work (running kodi 15.1 in portable mode) using the special branch from post #47 and with debugging turned on and and component logging for ffmpeg and libcurl.

Here is where I think the issue is:

On the non-working PC, I see this message on lines 486 & 487:

EDIT: I figured it out. Sorry to bother you with this post. Just in case this helps anyone else out, I had added an entry in my hosts file when trying to get nhl gamecenter working in kodi last hockey season. Once I commented that hosts file entry out, this plugin immediately started working.

The plugin isn't playing the video -- Kodi is. The plugin just authenticates with sportsnet and makes the video available. It isn't something I'll be able to fix.

Thanks for posting back -- I meant to look at this (your post) a while ago. Classic Neulion buffering workaround. I've found lately across all their platform (MLS, Sportsnet -- hopefully NHL when it comes back) that the buffering is much better. Years ago I couldn't watch anything reliably.

Great addon. You could get tsn1 and tsn2 if you could adapt this addon for Rogers AnyplaceTV. It has several live channels for Rogers customers including tsn1, tsn2, all the sportsnet channels, city, and the weather network. It uses the same login info as sportsnet now.

I think I should move Telus to unsupported. They're authorization API code is a strange. I wasn't going to bother trying to fix it since I didn't think anyone was using it. But, I'll see what I can do to get it working. For now I'll move it to unsupported.
