hi all,
my system (HTPC) runs Ubuntu 14.04 with PulseAudio disabled, just ALSA in favor of Kodi.
my surround decoder is an AVR, and HTPC is connected to AVR over S/PDIF. sound configuration is passthrough.
above setup has been flawless with Kodi 14, however only passthrough surround audio (DTS or Dolby) started stuttering annoyingly after automatic Isengard upgrade.
i have multichannel music material as WAVE, FLAC, AC3 and DTS audio files. same audio stutter problem occurs.
I re-installed PulseAudio, experimented with different output configurations (fixed/best/optimized) and different sampling rate limits (44.1/48/88.2/96/192), however failed to remove stutter.
stereo sound works perfect.
what should i do? is this a bug to be reported?
