Thanks for keeping at this. As expected first debug version did crash, logs are just below.

Kodi debug log from increased debug messages version: http://xbmclogs.com/pkvrihtia
Associated Mac Crash Log: http://xbmclogs.com/p4ajyojfj

Possible fix version also crashes. Logs are just below.

Kodi debug log from "possible fix" version: http://xbmclogs.com/pom6ltdxc
Associated Mac Crash Log: http://xbmclogs.com/piqlqhzgl

Also so you know, this same crash occurs when you click or select the "Browse" button when trying to add picture, video, music, program or files sources.

Example: "Video > Files > Add Videos > Browse" -> Crash

Kodi debug log for crash with add video source "Browse" : http://xbmclogs.com/pdsphkdqg

Ok. no more crahslogs needed. It happens whenever you go into a view where your mounted drives should be shown. It also only seems to happen on osx 10.7.x. The API i use for determining the disk name of the mounted drive is used correctly but just crashes for no real reason on osx 10.7. I can't fix it without having a 10.7 system around.

I got in touch with one of our sponsors and asked them to somehow upgrade one of our macmini servers from 10.6 to 10.7 - lets see if they manage to do it.

Only then i can investigate and develope a fix.

Thanks for trying. Still crashing with this version. Hope the macmini server can be upgraded to 10.7.x for testing on your end. Until there is a fix it's back to using Kodi 14.2.

I don't currently have an older version of kodi, is there somewhere I can download an older version that would be compatible?

Thanks

a bunch of older versions are here - as this issue seems to be related to the osx 10.7 minimum bump and c++11 compatibility changes you should be save with Kodi 14.2:

Ok as it needs some time until the macmini sponsor can upgrade one of the macminis to 10.7 i want to get some temporare workaround into place.

Can you guys please test this version? (this basically disables the mounted volume name resolving and doesn't show those automatically anymore in the sources - when kodi runs on osx 10.7.x - to prevent the crash)
