Hi,
I had read and re-read how-to on installing and running Kodi form USB flash stick.

I bought a 64GB USB3.0 small factor flash stick and tried to install Kodi on it.

I can install it just fine. but once all is done it will not boot.

I can see the files if I plug the stick into other machine, but it will not boot.

can some one suggest a better course of action on how to make the usb boot able.

my htpc runs on Gigabyte MB with AMD Phenon CPU.
it boots from install USB and from DVD just fine. but not from the installed flash stick.
I want to run the htpc without harddrive.

I do not like openelec, I prefer KodiBuntu.
and it seams that it is possible. I had found lots of how-tos on the subj.
it might be that I need to prepare the flash stick some how yo make it boot able after install.
I am hoping that some one here did this and know how to format and prepare the stick so it would work.
