Kodi - 15.1 Isengard
Windows 10 x64 patched to 27/08/15
AMD Phenom 9950 4Gb memory

This is a new install. I'm trying to enable the MediaPortal back end, I'm running 1.71 Hotfix at the moment on another machine.

I've installed and enabled the KODI plugin.

Question: My UNC Timeshift path are blank is this a problem? I've tried adding a share but I get an error message "Failed to create share_name not unique?"

I've enable the MP add-on and configured it for my setup but every time I go back in to configure the hostname for the MP machine is blank, it's accepting the value I've provided and shows after I click "done".

I've followed the instructions for your log uploader but I'm not sure what info needs to be posted, it's displayed

Your log is useless (no MediaPortal PVR info at all) so I can only guess.

If I understand it correctly, you are running the TV Server (backend) and Kodi (frontend) on two different PC's.
In that case, the Timeshift and Recording folders need to be shared.
You can just do this from the Explorer and the plugin will pick this up the next time the TV server is started.
Test manually on the frontend PC if you can access the shares. If you can't, KODI cannot do it either.

You can ignore the the blank hostname field. Just enter the right IP-address or hostname for the backend and it will be saved. It is a weird Kodi display issue that shows the blank field. As soon as you try to edit it, it will show the real contents.
