I've recently created a USB stick mounted Kodibuntu setup for use on my Desktop. I boot from the USB stick and all works well. However, I would like to access media on the hard drives on the desktop that are in use in its normal life as a Windows XP machine. It seems like kodibuntu or linux can only see the usb stick as a source of media and not the two hard drives on the machine the stick is plugged into. Is this a tricky thing to overcome? i.e. Have Kodi 'see' the hard drives on the desktop in order to use media on them as media to play within Kodi?
Any more info required, please ask.
