Hi. I'm using the simple client to watch iptv from m3u playlist and with epg from xml file. It works very well.
I would like to record iptv channel from epg. Is there any way to do this? I'm using openelec in a raspberry2.

There is a fork of IPTV Simple Client that has recording, but I don't know how to compile PVR add-ons to try it, and I haven't heard if anyone has tried it.

I looked at the source and it has recording code in it. But I never installed or tested that fork

If someone can actually show this working then we can bug afedchin about it for the official add-on. However, if it doesn't work then I don't want to bother him ;)
