Only by doing what you've been doing, which is testing each build until you're sure there is no problem. Once we know the build that introduced the problem then it can be narrowed down further.

Hello,

Couldn't find this reported anywhere, so here is one for the group.

When I play back recorded TV content, playback freezes when skipping over commercials.

I am enclosing a debug trace: http://goo.gl/bDCEKF
At [12:29:45] I initiate a manual SKIP operation, this results in playback freeze
(If I leave it like this for ~5 mins, playback will fix itself and resume automatically)
At [12:30:02] I press the SKIP button again (This takes player out of freeze)

My platform is a NUC5CPYH [Celeron N3050; Cherryview (gen 8) (Braswell, Cherry Trail)]

It is speaking to a MythTV 0.28 backend through the Kodi plugin.

Have I mis-configured something? Is there a known workaround?

Is this issue being tracked anywhere?

Assuming this is a known problem, do we already know when it was introduced?
I see this issue in both Milhouse and fritsch images since the beginning of the year.
I have not tested further back from this. Is this needed?

I have been using your builds for quite some time now on my ION based systems as well as my RPi2.
Thank you very much for providing us with these bleeding edge testing builds.

I only have one problem: Since build #1121 my systems do not shutdown and reboot correctly. This is the same for the RPi2.
The system just keeps hanging saying "[ OK ] Reached target shutdown." Shutdown procedures have been working fine in build #1119.

As far as I can remember, there was a similar problem with the RPi builds before that had been fixed.
I did not provide any kodi logs as I think this is unrelated. If you need logs or further information I will be happy to provide it.

So, I have a question. Has anyone else tried to have Kodi GUI output at 4k (3840x2160p@60Hz)? If I set it at that resolution all video playbacks will display half the screen black and half the screen with the half video.

I know I am supposed to post logs, but just wanted to hear if anyone else has had this issue first?

As far as I can remember, there was a similar problem with the RPi builds before that had been fixed.
I did not provide any kodi logs as I think this is unrelated. If you need logs or further information I will be happy to provide it.

Does anyone else has HDMI handshake issues with these builds?

Since i upgraded from official OE6 to these builds, sometimes the HDMI handshake between my NUC D34010 and my AVR does not work when the refresh rate is changed from 50Hz to 24Hz at the beginning and from 24Hz back to 50Hz at the end of a movie. Just a black screen then until i restart the NUC or the AVR -.-
