- There is support for both GPT and regular partition table so it will work, depending on the drive (specially if it's a 7200rpm without external power) I'd use a powered hub to be 100% sure but if you have an Y split cable you can try that solution as well.

- I have used the Unlocator VPN, both use the Android VPN backend so it shouldn't be a problem

- Yes you can use the same so you can install the app that you have already bought.

Thank you Christian,
I might order this one tonight.

Sorry was just trying to purchase this, will it be on Amazon anytime soon?
If not, with which couriers they handle shipping (both premium and standard), the reason is, I am staying in a hotel and will stay there for another 50 days, I need to know if the courier delivers to hotels or not.

Yes Kevin, 5GHz up to N speed, no AC.

@melhemk
I don't know if and when Amazon will stock it, it will be available to the authorized resellers (there might be one for your country) that you can find on wetek website.
I just asked and TNT can deliver to hotels, no problem Wink

I have a question concerning the remote control: I'm currently using FLIRC and a Logitech harmony to control my laptop with Kodi running. Can I continue to use this setup with the WeTek Core?
Reply
You surely can on OE, on android you will have to create a .kl that matches vendor id / product id of the receiver that you are plugging in and add there the key codes: https://source.android.com/devices/input...files.html

I always like a challenge Smile

I've just tested this combo out. My Flirc is programmed to Full Keyboard mode to give me total control over Kodi and mapped to a Harmony One.
It's plug and play, with the Core the way it was meant to be. This Flirc is the easiest device in the House I have to program Smile

Did you use Android or OpenELEC?

BTW: The streaming apps only work under Android, right?

Both, the Flirc, keyboard, Harmony mapping operates exactly the same on both of them when using Kodi.
In fact Flirc operates a whole number of Kodi devices in the house exactly the same way.
Thats what is was designed to do.

Yes 1080p DRM streaming only in Android Apps.

Yes, I was referring for having all keys correctly mapped in Android for launcher, apps, etc.
