WeTek Core (24p HD Netflix / HD Audio / Lollipop / OpenELEC / 4K / HEVC)
Code:
echo 1 > /sys/class/tsync/debug_video_pts

And let the kernel log for you. You should see either 20 or 40 ms PTS packages. Everything besides that would suck.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Here is the current implementation for anyone wanting to test:

OpenELEC 6.95.6 / Kodi 16.0 Jarvis RC1

Note: no 3D stuff in this release yet !

A few of speedup tweaks in the Kernel and Kodi patches for quicker File browsing on ARM in there as well.
Oh and the nice tear free Mali GPU video Drivers in there also Smile

Just got the WeTek Core,so far so good, was able to install Openelec which is much better than Android.

I wish there is more devices that support OpenElec.

OpenELEC is equally supported as Android. It is expected that with OE 7.0 Core become officially supported.

wrxtasy, have you changed some of the remote button functions in this latest release?

My back button keeps returning me to home rather than just going back.

No I suspect something has changed in Kodi itself or somewhere.
I have just noticed that as well and its damn annoying. I will try and patch back the previous behavior.
The Kodi addon Keymap Editor may help

3D will get some attention when I get the time.
HD Audio is anyone's guess, Codesnake is the switched on AMLogic Kernel dude with the AML connections so anything is possible.
WeTek seem committed to the AMLogic platform, so who knows what surprises they have cooking in the pot Smile

Those are the only 2 things missing on this device, everything else looks good.

Hope they can fix that.

Today i got in big trouble with my lovely core.
In android as soon I have Internet connection the screen is either full black or flickers gray.
Microphone is working including google results.
Openelec booting from sd works as well.
But the android desktop is no more accessible.
For Ethernet and wifi. Help!

That would be a support question for the WeTek Core Android forums themselves as it has nothing to do with Kodi:
