Hi Tó Madeira,

WeTek Streamer is specific device created mainly as IPTV/OTT receiver for B2B (small and medium sized IPTV/OTT service operators).

Interesting, they seem to be HDMI, Dolby, DTS, Widevine, PlayReady licensee, but call it odd, they don't show up as a licensed HDCP adpoter: http://www.digital-cp.com/licensee-list?...er_page=50

So, you are WeTek and VVetek?

Yes, is company name while brand name is WeTek. Now small joke, in your post above you forgot to mention that we are member of MPEG-LA, AAC, WiFi alliance, Bluetooth, NCTA as well Smile

@droidelec that would be really interessting to know, can you answer that?

Yes, we are working very hard to put stock back. In mean time you can reserve your Core on this URL

Same SoC as the ODroid C1+, though potentially with proper approval (as Wetek don't behave, and thus aren't treated, like many Chinese no-name box makers) for industry standards (particularly DRM)

For those interested in both, Android and OpenELEC at WeTek Core, we are workig on new bootloader which will allow easy switching between OpenELEC and Android without need to remove micro SD card from Core.

gda made libcec driver for AMLogic based devices, it is currently tested on Play (MX) and Core.

Excellent.

Is there likely to be a selection menu?

If so, hopefully it will timeout and boot to a user selected default OS.

Yes, there will be notification to press button if want to boot from microSD.

Great news droidelec. Being able to select which OS to boot into via remote control would be a great development.

Do you guys recommend the new upcoming Odroid C2 over wetek core? Can't choose which one to get. I'll only use OpenElec on it (yes I need HEVC). Nothing else. It seems to be more futureproof with real 4k support/hdmi 2.0.

Mr. Wrxtasy, will you work on an OE for C2 or the Wetek build will do it?

Thanks!

EDIT: Sorry, it might not be the good forum thread.
