[RELEASE] Ditto-Rain - Indian movies/shows/live
#1
First Video addon release. Go hard on me. j/k. Tested working on Win7/fire tv - Kodi 14.x, 15.x, 16.x

Addon features (Language and Sorting options under settings, default is set for Hindi)
- Live Tv
- Movies
- TV shows
- Search

I hate to add this section after going through ~24 pages, but before moving on to Zip file, lets discuss somethings...
- This addon won't cater to any other content outside of the original website.
- I will not pay any attention to any posts, which doesn't verify whatever they are asking for on original website. So your post should start with "I verified working on website, AND I've gone through addon settings, but ..."
- There are 2 different version of website based on region, and I have access to only one(which should be the latest version). For other region version 1.7 should work, if it doesn't then I can't do anything about it, I don't have VPN to access website from your region.
----UPDATE: if you need version 1.7, then go here. http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=...pid2289082 , credit to Ace310 for fixing images for this version.
- Good luck.

Below link should give you a .zip file which you can do install from zip under Get addons. You still need to have modules listed at bottom enabled in your kodi version, I'm not going to add those to my repo to save bandwidth.

https://github.com/YoColdRain/Ditto-Rain...p?raw=true

Tea/Coffee welcome.

p.s. if requirements are not met, addon uses Common and Requests module (both should auto install)

Common http://addons.kodi.tv/show/script.module.addon.common/

FIXES/RELEASES(latest at top):
Version 2.0.6 - Fixed all categories, some channels on load may get stuck on buffering, when that happens press play again.
Version 2.0.5 - Fixed Live Channels.
Version 2.0.4 - Fixed entire site, everything should be working if site is not in beta. ALSO, this may be very Temporary, site maybe going through changes again.
Version 2.0.3 - Fixed images for Live tv, and added favorite option for Live TV channels. Also added Live TV channels selection under settings.
Version 2.0.2 - Live tv reverted back to version 2.0, and tv shows are from version 2.0.1
Version 2.0.1 - Live tv fixed, all catgories should work for low-end devices.
Version 2.0 - Entire addon changed, for new site layout.
Version 1.0.7 - Live TV section fix. (image fix - http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=...pid2289082)
Version 1.0.6 - more bug fixes, mainly for FireTV. But helps other OS as well.
Version 1.0.5 - More fixes for bugs. Fixed search query, added favorite option for tvshows popping under search. Also, added next page option for episodes which no one noticed. Still a bug remains when empty search is made but everything else is stable.
Version 1.0.4 - Removed BeautifulSoup and html5lib requirements. Also, 'Let me choose' quality option removed from settings, only highest quality stream available will play. Added Addon Favorites options.
Version 1.0.3 - Removed empty directory when stream is loaded, and rather keep existing directory. Resuming should work now for movies and tvshows.

yea it seems you're missing beautifulsoup4 module, go to Get Addons/Kodi Addon repository/Add-on libraries and install BeautifulSoup4, also HTML5Lib and Common are there as well, just verify those are enabled.

p.s. this is on Kodi 14.x, not sure if 15.x is also the same.

Normally, I would take a ZIP file and go into Kodi, and install from ZIP
When I do this, it does not work this way?

When I try to install it this way on my PC or Android Device, it says, "This does not have correct structure"

Any detail information on how to do this, appreciate it

Html5Lib was missing. Installed it. Working fine now. Great job! You are a Star.
Just noticed that "Times Now" is missing from the Live TV list though is part of the DittoTv Android app. Any suggestions?
Also, an option to choose the default stream quality/bitrate would be highly appreciated.

when you download the zip from above given link, extract it, and zip the folder thats inside (plugin.video.ditto-rain) and try installing that zip. if some dependencies not met error comes up then install modules as shown in post 3. Also logs are helpful, like Mujunk did.

Im not sure of Android app as I'm actually looking at the site, and they don't have times-now available currently. Also, that default stream is bothering me as well. it's definitely in to do list. If any experienced developer is looking at this, would appreciate if you can chime in.

I saw that, but shows me internal server error. My guess is you're not in united states.

Hey Mate,

Thanks for the release! I've followed all the steps highlighted in your original post, but I get "addon does not have the correct structure" I'm using Kodi 14 on Windows8 and I'm trying to install from zip.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers!

https://github.com/YoColdRain/Ditto-Rain...master.zip , download zip and extract plugin folder and place it under your addons or zip the folder and install from zip file. Still getting used to Git.

Tea/Coffee welcome.

p.s. if requirements are not met, addon uses Html5lib, BeautifulSoup, and Common modules.
