MHEG Decoding

Hi,

Does anyone know whether VDR supports MHEG decoding for XBMC? If not what is the suitable tool for this for XBMC?

Thank you in advance!

I don't think Kodi support this, but on the other hand vdr support this with vdr-redbutton plugin
I think you better make future request @ https://github.com/FernetMenta

"MHEG"? Is that a video container/stream or?

Anyway, Kodi uses FFmpeg both to demux video containers/streams and decode the encoded video/audio content.

Alternativly you could ask the VDR backend/server developers to add a transcoder/demuxer on their server-side.

This is not fully correct. vnsi has its own demuxer for live tv.

Isn't that what I wrote above as an alterative solution: Alternativly you could ask the VDR backend/server developers to add a transcoder/demuxer on their server-side.
