Hello,

When i set in the skin setting the start window to a value other then default like favorites or video, the menu is completly missing when i reboot.
Why that?
When i set to main window it will be there.
Kodi 15.1 and newest Skin ist installed.

Everything is working as expected on my systems (mac, linux, windows). No missing menus.
There must be something wrong on your side.
