Hi Guys,

I'm using the "IPTV Simple Client" with a working list of channels on my Raspberry Pi 2, but I have a very strange issue, this happens with different distributions: "OpenElec" and "OSMC", so I suppose it is related with our Add-on.

To reproduce it :

Go in TV section and click on a channel , let's say Channel 1 in the list in Full Screen Mode, after with remote select Channel 30, and after a while select (always with remote) Channel 10:
Kodi redirects you to channel list (exiting from Full screen mode) without playing anymore the channel stream...
clicking on every other channel doesn't work anymore...

Does somebody else have this problem?
Any help would be appreciated.

I have done other tests with different playlists and same result... Sad

Hi negge,
Thank you for your answer, but is not the case... The playlist is working fine.
Everything works perfect if i change channel from list instead of using number buttons on the remote, is the only case in which I have this problem... If you need I can post a log for that...

Please help me!

Ok ,
I have copied part of the log , hiding the real url of the channels, instead of real domain I have put "myProvider" and instead of user and password and ip address: XXXX sequence....
So what happens is I open the iptv simple client, I click on the list on channel 10 ( http://myProvider:8000/live/xxxxxxxxxx/x...x/326.m3u8 in the log) it works correctly, I go in fullscreen , I click on remote button 3 and 0 in order to go to channel 30 (http://myProvider:8000/live/xxxxxxxxxx/x...xx/48.m3u8 in the log) it works I can see the channel, after I click always in full screen on button 1 and 0 in order to go back to channel 10 (same of the first) and I'm redirected to the channel list exiting from full screen mode, and this is what I see in the log:

Thank you but I don't understand why the list works fine with different players and I never have this problem: used with vlc and with smartiptv (an app for samsung tv) and no problem there, It seems to me a problem of the player used by Kodi, is that possible? Do you think there is a way I can investigate more on this problem? or there is a way to use a different player on Raspberry pi2?

Another thing after you have the error :
Error, could not open file http://myProvider:8000/live/xxxxxxxxxx/x...x/326.m3u8

nothing works anymore, you have to restart koi in order to watch again the list...

This is really strange because the links in the list are still working if opened with another player...
It seems to me the player (used by kodi) cannot open the stream and stops working, I think this is not normal.... But it happens only switching between some channels and not other... (different codec, format, resolution? I don't know...)
