- Added No spoilers setting for live games only

I think this should be the other side.

"Spoilers only for live Games" makes senses and is a good Feature.

I see which games are tight and select the Game.

Is anyone here who has the nhl add on working on fire tv. I installed it new from version .7 to version .11

Everytime I get an error on full games. Only the recap is working.

I'm logged in with my email address. So it should work ;(

Full games don't work on some devices due to the SSL. I am not sure if anything can be changed in the add-on to fix this.

Adfreetime got me around the national blackouted game tonight... however... going back to watch the blackhawks game from tuesday bears no fruit. Will test thursday night with a live game.

Yo! We in there! Just opened the Blackhawks stream using today's updated addon and adfreetime. Bye bye blackouts! Hello Hockey! Can't wait for puck drop.
Thanks to everyone's posts and eracknaphobia's hard work. For real... get me some donation info man!

Recaps don't require logins to work. The only way I could get the same error (400 bad request) was to select Rogers subscriber when I am not.

I have not selected the Rogers button and I changed the login from my username to my email address. I also use unblock-us.com but never had a problem. Is there any help why I get bad request. I logged me off and reinstalled everything but no way on my fire tv and fire tv stick Sad

I tried editing my hosts file to point the l3c one to akc and the content takes some time to get mirrored to akamai. For instance the Caps game from two days ago was on the akamai server but the Pens game from last night was not.

As far as I can tell they take a day or so to get to the hlslive-akc layer.

You can't edit your hosts file as the Host: header won't match. You need to generate a 301 redirect from one to the other using a web server. But because both hosts get content from the same source it will work live content. The only thing that will stop it is if the CDN is removed at some point as it may have only been an experiment.

here is 2 curl requests for headers off both hosts for the same file note the X-* headers are the same which the source is the same.

You are a legend...

I fired up nginx on my htpc box with a 301 redirect from hlslive-l3c to hlslive-akc and then set my hosts file to point hlslive-l3c to localhost. Now I get no stuttering what so ever... in fact my buffer never drops below 99%.

I'm kinda starting to question even using NHL.TV at all! The Ps4 app is still terrible quality, the usage attempts mystery is still unsolved (I like to jump around so this is bad for me), and my DNS service doesn't work anymore with it either... and all of this on top of a very unreliable new service from the NHL to begin with. After watching streamed hockey for years, I'm actually considering throwing in the towel and exploring other avenues. It was a good cord-cutting run, I suppose!

Thanks for all your efforts though, Erack.

This Kodi App saved NHL.TV for me. Yes there are still bugs to work out, but I think it will get better. Watched a few games today and it worked great.

Massive thanks for this plugin - it works far better than my PS4, XB1 or Roku apps.

My only request/suggestion would be to alter the stream running time displayed for replays. On the old NHL Gamecenter addons, if you watched a replay game, Kodi would display "06:00:00" for the length of the feed. Today I was watching a replay and it had 02:34:00 - the game was close and there was only a minute or two left on the feed. So I knew the game wasn't going to reach OT. It's fine if you are watching all the way through, but given they no longer edit the replays for us, I am always skipping commercials or intermissions or whatever, and the time at the top can be a dead giveaway.

I have no idea what's involved in making it display an arbitrary higher number, but if it could be done like the old addons, that'd be awesome.

You rock.

You and many others. Unfortunately not me. My DNS throws a mystery error that nobody can figure out - though the same DNS service works for others just fine. The streams constantly pause, then fast forward to catch up, or worse never start back up at all. I can't even switch feeds once without getting locked out of my account for a half hour. Glad it's working for you, but this whole switch has been a nightmare for me. Been using this service for over 2 seasons (with Kodi) and have never had problems until now.

Hey Guys, so I am new to this Kodi World. I currently have an Sony Bravia Android TV. I used to be able to stream nhl game center from my phone directly to my tv, but no longer works. So I explored KODI. Can anyone recommend the step by step instructions of using NHL TV on my TV through Kodi? I tried using the app that I saw there, but it seems outdated. Any recommendations?
