Hey guys,

is it possible to use the TVheadend streamprofiles also to stream recordings to Kodi?

I've got a server-PC running TVheadend at home and can stream livetv over a VPN-connection to Kodi at my secondary residence.
It works fine, because TVheadend transcodes the stream on-the-fly to a lower bitrate.
Now I also want to do this for some recordings I did with TVheadend.
I want to keep them in original quality at the harddisc at home and only transcode them (also on-the-fly) to stream them to Kodi (over the VPN-connection).

I couldn't find any option for this in the settings, So, is this possible, or (if not) could achieved maybe with a third-party software?

I hope someone knows an answer for my problem

I think you can only do transcoding of recordings while you're recording them, but I've never used that feature so I'm not completely sure.
