I tried to download Isengard 5.2 rc3 but the download repeatedly failed, so I installed a copy of Isengard 5.2 rc2 on an android mini pc. I launched Kodi and went to System--settings--addons and clicked on install from repositoryas I wanted to install Backup addon to restore a build I had backup from another device. a Remote Share window popped up with a message saying Couldn't connect to network server. i could go no further.
Is the Kodi server down?

Try opening this URL in a web browser that uses the same internet connection as your Kodi device and tell us what server it resolves to:

Thanks Ned.
Are my assumptions correct that this would be causing the issues I identified with trying to install addons from the Kodi Rrpo, and the popup window I get when clicking on Install fro Repository with a fresh install?
Is there anyway I can point at another server??

I forgot to mention:
It happens when I use my optic fiber Internet, when I use mobile Internet (router with SIM slot) everything is OK.
