Kodi will recreate the DBs when they are missing, but in your case the issue is that the MySQL server isn't allowing access to your "Kodi" user. I would double check the permissions steps from the
MySQL (wiki) guide.

I'm kinda not sure if they exist anymore. Basically I might just have to reinstall Kodi again because I can't get the MySQL fixed and the DBs don't even seem to be there.

Why would you need to reinstall Kodi? At worst you should just need to drop your empty MySQL databases, and rescan your media.

I think I deleted stuff I shouldn't and it's totally messed up now... I got this to work before and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong now. I can't view my HDD as SMB shares and they don't want to scan....
I have no idea where the problem is but I can't get it to work.
Ideas?
