I've now tried NextPVr and MediaPortal and the video is way behind audio on my internal network. I'm using Ceton card 4 PCIe. Since it happens with NextPVR and MediaPortal on both a RPi1 and 2 I'm starting to think it's my internal network but WMC has no trouble at all.

Anyone else seen this streaming MP to a RP1 or 2?

Anyone know of a way to test the bandwidth/speed of the internal network to Kodi?

A debug log (wiki) would help.
Best guess is the video is in MPEG-2 format and you don't have a MPEG-2 codec licence
