Thank you that worked.

If I have the plugin set to youtube library player I get an error on playback, but set to the youtube plugin it works perfectly. I would rather the youtube player since i have it set to inputstream adaptive and it works great.

I have to say that this is an amazing addon and I am excited to see the first new video to be added automatically.

I wish this addon was merged with the netflix and amazon so that I might be able to have subscriptions on those too.

I'm having some troubles with Wu Tang Collection (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUpbgPb...9PxI-nI7oA). When it updates, it seems to skip some videos. For example, last week (10/12/2017 around 18:00) it did grab Protectors of universe (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BEjUawBG0I), bt it didn't grab Chinese Pink Panther (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9dY9XHZGMo). Today it updated again, and still don't have chinese pink panther, or almost anything uploaded after protectors of universe, with the exception of Furious Dragon (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OH8YjbYMHrA) , Tiger in Hunting (Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon- original) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfMz2o1TWRE) and El Gran Pícaro ( Big Rascal) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ziwOljOwrT8).

I'm tempted to star from scratch, but not sure if it will fix my problem.

savioreagle, You can change it to play with native youtube plugin, then you can change youtube plugin to 1080p.

3000, mine seem to be updating fine

Alexsource, ensure you are selecting uploads to get all videos from the channel.

question: let's say I update a show Mondays at 11 p.m. but my PC isn't running until the next day.

will YoutubeLibrary update then or will it not update at all?

it seems to be checking only on a 30 Min schedule... I have noticed that upon launch it would be nice if it check right away but it sometime does not.

I have manually kicked of the update a time or two...

Yeah, I'm using uploads, that's the weird thing. I've set the Exclude option to review|trailer, but that's not supposed to skip those movies. I have no idea why it's not grabing some videos.
Between my last post and today, 5 more movies where added, and apparently it only added this one: Dreadnaught Rivals (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUL8Hf3BS-c)

I was missing a video today too, perhaps the addon needs an update.

I would love if it worked with inputstream adaptive natively so that play progress was kept.

Also we need a way to like the videos.

I think so too. It's not updating reliably. I can always trigger an update manually. Then it works. But somehow not automatically.

And even more important is the play progress.

Well, I would love to make it work with inputstream adaptive (so we finally have 1080p+ support and resume playback etc). I've tried to look into it, but i can't seem to find any documentation or howto guides or anything of the sort. And I'm extremely busy lately, so it will be at least a month or two away before i can program it, given I can find any documentation on how to implement. It would really help me out if someone could supply this. Also, if you can code, feel free to add it yourself and do a pull request Wink

On the discussion on automatic updating of playlist i've noticed above; If a playlist should update at 11 PM, and your pc is not on, the addon *should* update the playlist immediately when Kodi starts. Youtube Library will indeed check each 30 minutes from that point if there are playlists that should be updated again. This interval however can be altered in the addon settings.
