Thanks Krustyreturns for adding this feature. I have been using it for months, but forgot acknowledging in this thread. Sorry about that.
I wish, Kodi could properly support it for TV Recordings, where it'd query both dates (recording and original air-date) from the PVR-server, and then we could sort by either date.
However, in the absence of that, the switch that you added in serverwmc is very useful.
