Running on a Minix NEO U1 (S905.arm) with LibreELEC 8.2.3.1 and Kodi 17.6, oldish Sony television connected via HDMI. If I leave the Minix alone and switch the TV to view some other input, when Aerial comes on as a screen saver, the Minix box will send the CEC command to switch over to the Minix input, and I get a peaceful Aerial vista instead of whatever I was watching on the other TV input. This is a bit silly.

Currently running the same hardware on CoreELEC 9.0.3 and Kodi 18.3, and still the same issue. When Aerial starts playing a screen saver video, the television will switch to show that input. There is an open issue from 2017 on Github. Still a bit silly.

Apple has added a bunch of additional videos and the github project for desktop has regularly been updated to support them here: https://github.com/JohnCoates/Aerial

Are there any updates for the Kodi version that allow us to use the new videos there?

I do not see any behavior change 18.3-->18.4.  Does it begin to work for you if you downgrade back to 18.3?

on me LE install it has stopped working during movie playback pause.
Used to work when media was paused now no longer
only works in Kodi menu
same on other new apple tv screensaver
