Kodi will freeze and require a reboot if I try and rewind a live feed like tsn, ESPN, or any live game on nhl game center . Essentially anything other than a tv show or movie.

maybe this is just how it is, but I would like to be able to rewind a live stream, like a cable box pvr, when I miss something or just want to to see it again. Is there a way to do this ?

Well you aren't using a pvr, I don't think the stream is being saved to rewind back through.

I thought the pvr was only if you wanted to record an incoming saite or cable signal. Not to record streams

Is there a way to record the streams ?
