That's because your first monitor has an aspect ration of 16:9 and your second monitor has 16:10, so basically you're trying to show content rendered at 16:9 on 16:10. Result: all content will be stretched which will not look good.

The skin fortunately supports both 16:9 and 16:10 resolutions but this is only detected by kodi at skin launch.
So you should start Kodi on the correct monitor.

if you really want to be able to switch between the monitors while Kodi is running there is a workaround: you can issue the SkinReload command. For example you can create a custom keymapping or a custom shortcut for that.
