MySQL 5.7.x support should be fixed in nightly builds after 27 November (and in Kodi 16 beta 3, once that is released).
Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.

I know tihs is a long dead thread, but I just wanted to say "Thank you!" I upgraded my Ubuntu server instance tonight, and all was working well, except for TV shows. Lucky for me, this thread existed. Saved me from countless hours of messing around, unsuccessfully.
