I was wondering if it was possible to add different emulators into retroplayer? Either as a whole or individual basis? i have stock piled a bunch of C64 ROMs as this was the system of my youth and it would be great to be able to play them through retroplayer.

If the emulator is ported to the libretro framework, then yes, it is possible to add them to retroplayer. In fact there is discussion about C64 emulator cores at http://libretro.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2188 on the libretro forums.
