There still seems to be another issue, but tonight's build will hopefully show an improvement.

That patch has fixed playback of my test DVD ISO.

These are both the same issue. I think I have a fix pushed for tonight's build.

ThanksYou for your joint efforts, popcornmix and Milhouse.
....will skip #1209 and have a look to your next #1210 nightbuilding ;-)

Very nice! Appreciate the quick response. Have really been loving the advanced deinterlacing and auto slight overclock.

Might be a power supply issue. Does disabling overclock help?

Confirmed, thanks.

Edit: Ah, I have also tested a H264+DTS just for fun. Everything looked okay, but looking at the (non-debug) log now I've spotted this error:
Code:

Advanced deinterlacing mpeg2 content is good again in 1210. Thanks!

#1210 play iso file have issues: ChapterOrBigStepForward / ChapterOrBigStepBack built-in function not work, system hangup.
#86
Good morning,

the first (fast) tests on DVD is perfect:

DVD menu works, bigin start with sound, Audio options are ok, hifiberry decode DTS fine.
"ChapterOrBigStepForward / ChapterOrBigStepBack" is ok on DVD.

Iso are playable, but "ChapterOrBigStepBack" is buffering longer time, but works (not so fine).

Thx - a great step forward :-)

I dont think its power suply since on same config kodi 16 runs fine without problem, infact one of the reasions why i installed 17 cleen was that after i updated from 16 to 17 i was facing same problem with reboot and then i revert to 16 and problem was gone

Ps

With or without overclock is the same
#89
Fast forwarding and rewinding mpeg2 liveTV with advanced deinterlacing enabled seems much more snappy!

Question... Does this "Use the sdhost MMC controller by default" mean that I can do something different in config.txt now if I want an overclock on the SD card? Currently I have:

dtoverlay=sdhost,overclock_50=84
#90
I think you still need that if you want to overclock the sdhost driver. Anyone loading the sdhost driver but without an overclock now doesn't need the "dtoverlay=sdhost" config.txt entry at all.
